Mentoring a team of entrepreneurs – Team Qetela!

 

I recently provided some mentoring a team of entrepreneurs from MEST Africa. MEST is a Pan-African entrepreneurial training program, seed fund, tech incubator and hub.

I was thrilled to receive this testimonial from the team in my inbox:

Team Qetela worked on a web based prototype that tackles the major challenge of employee disengagement in Sub-Saharan Africa.

According to Gallup 83% of employees in Sub-Saharan Africa are disengaged or not actively engaged. This results in up to 17% lower productivity and 21% reduced profitability for businesses with low engagement.

The team incorporated innovative gamification to help boost employee engagement. The solution they proposed covered the following features:
